I think the problem might be related to the DEB installers, and our dependencies DEB installers. I do not think the dependencies listed on the OpenShot download page contain libmp3lame, which would explain the problem. In theory, on Ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04, my previous suggestion would work just fine. However, since you used the DEB installer, it is unaffected by installing those packages. I'm not sure the best solution to this.
Option 1) I could update all of the DEB installers (which is generally a nightmare) Option 2) You could install ffmpeg, libmp3lame, mlt, etc.... yourself, which can also be a nightmare Option 3) You can upgrade to a newer version of Ubuntu So... it looks like there is no simple fix for this (as far as I can tell). =( I'll keep thinking about it though. Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New Bug description: When selecting certain export options in version 1.1, I'm not allowed to export because libmp3lame is not installed, but Synaptic lists the package libmp3lame0 as installed. I have successfully exported under this options (avi (mp4), ntsc dv, high quality) in version 1.0. Thanks Ubuntu 9.10 Openshot 1.1 installed from PPA + Ubuntu 9.04 64bits OpenShot 1.1 installed from the .deb dowloaded from the official website. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
