I am also having problems with rendering in HD for Youtube. I had an older version of OpenShot and deleted it per the instructions on the Openshot page before I downloaded the latest version. I installed it with the PPA per the instructions. After editing the clips and rendering in HD the work came back totally blank...nothing there. I switched my settings to a lesser quality output and the video rendered like it should have....just seems to be the HD setting?
