I'd also like to have easier time working with transitions in OpenShot... I thought I'd able to create video project (slide-show video) with OS where I need to put ~100 slideds on the timeline, connect them with transitions, background music, animated title ets., but it looks I'll use OS just to create animated title to be included in Cinelerra. :-(
Let's hope 1.3 will be more useful...I'm tired of wrestling with Cinelerra, but OS is not ready yet. Sincerely, Gour -- Transitions are very difficult to put in place https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/543960 You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Developers, which is subscribed to openshot in ubuntu. Status in OpenShot Video Editor: Confirmed Status in “openshot” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: openshot When inserting a transition, two unintuitive things happen: 1. The transition always defaults to the "up" direction, even when it's being placed over a transition that goes down a track. 2. The transition doesn't snap to anything, and defaults to the same length no matter what. I'd like to see transitions "know" when they've been placed across overlapped clips, orient themselves in the right direction, and snap to the edges of the overlapping clips so no adjustment is needed. This would make editing so much more fluid and intuitive! _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
