Same problem with a 6 year old 'puter, 1G RAM at work. The mixed output movie is fine though. At home I have a dual-core with 6G RAM and have no stuttering problem.

When I export a video all is fine (no audio-stuttering). I use mostly Raw-DV format but other formats (AVI, MPEG, VOB) has the same problem. This is with the 32-bits Ubuntu 9.04 deb versions, OpenShot version 0.9.22.
