I wrote a duplicate to this bug (sort of, mine differs as I'll explain) because, as it stands, with OpenShot 1.2.2, OpenShot becomes completely unusable after 2 or three tracks, especially when layered, have effects, or have their time stretched (slow motion) or compressed (sped up). My bug specifically deals with the PLAYBACK of OpenShot. If you're testing an edit, I need to be able to see in _real time_ how it looks. When I do playback on anything more than one track, it slows down and gets choppy. The more tracks, the more choppy it gets.

Up to 10 seconds just to change the position in the timeline (programme gets grayed out in this time). CPU: 100%, RAM: 33% - so RAM is not the problem. The CPU is a Dual Core 2GHz (Intel core 2 duo CPU T5870 @ 2GHz). Is that too slow??? I wonder because everything is fine with only a few files. Thx, k_s P.S.: Ubuntu karmic koala 9.10 Openshot 1.0.0 (ppa) _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
