For me, trust your package manager adding the PPA , update it and update melt. It will say you exactly what he must do for update the software.

Surprise, it doesn't. This time there are at least 2 issues: - Most clips have each image row offset to right their Y-value. Resulting image has a 45 degree \ line with right part of image on left and left part on right, distorted. - Colors are way off - most of the image looks black & white but for example red is purple and green is green.
