I ve just finished a first battery of test on my LMDE 64 bits. And unfortunately, i am not able to reproduce it. But i have noted some few problems in the installation. And i have some questions too. what is your version of LMDE ? 32 or 64 bits ? I don't know if you know but there was a problem with the 32 bits (in the image iso) when they are going out.?. I use the second version with the 200 lines of code. What is your version of FFMEG ? MLT ? When you install it the 1.1.3 and the 1.2.2 too , the frei0r-plugins are not installed. But when you launch OS you have a message error saying that they are missing. But that 's not all . The version by default of libsdl1.2debian is alsa and not pulseaudio. You should check all the dependencies (see here : http://openshotusers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=33) I have note a problem with alsa which one by default so thus i have replaced it by the pulseaudio version and all his perfect now
What have you when you launch OS in a console ? I use all the last version of FFMPEG and MLT. I have not yet done the test with the 1.3.0. My programming environment is not yet in place. I continue to test. This LMDE is really great and beautiful and quick. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Developers, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/705200 Title: Clips in Timeline Unusable in Linux Mint Debian Ed. Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New Bug description: Linux Mint Debian Edition Installed Openshot using Package Manager OpenShot 1.1.3 I am unable to work with clips in the time-line. When I place the clip on the time line sometimes they are not visible and I can't place them on the tracks I want. They appear all in the same track when I add a new track. Also had problems clicking the visibility of the track or to mute the track. I am going to try to link a sample video I took that shows the problem. : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1323329/openshotproblems.ogv I also found this forum discussion which seems to be the same problem. : http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=62856&p=362838 I've only experienced these problems in Linux Mint Debian Edition. Also, I tried to update to Openshot 1.2.2 to see if it still was happening but could not figure out how to do that. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
