UPDATE there seems to be a problem with long strings in path - I've changed the path to Blender 2.5.6 beta executable (and location of Blender of course) in a short string (I moved Blender folder in /home/Applications/BlenderBeta/ so now it works.
"Bug" closed for me - but please check the length of strings limitation. For the strings with breaks maybe a short script can add auto-magically the necessary quotes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Developers, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/720822 Title: Open Shot 1.3.0 cannot use Blender Status in OpenShot Video Editor: New Bug description: Blender is in place (on system and also the development version is on my home folder), but OpenShot cannot see the blender executable eve the path is correct for both versions of Blender (2.4.9 and 2.5.6b).
