Well, I checked all my dependencies, and it looks like I have everything. I do have blender 2.5.6 installed, but I'm just using a simple title here. One thing I noticed was that OpenSUSE's package names are different, so there may be something there. OpenSUSE has many different libSDL libraries. I'll try installing them all.
Here's the output running from the command line. It doesn't look like a whole lot of info: phil@donkey:~> /usr/bin/openshot -------------------------------- OpenShot (version 1.3.0) -------------------------------- Process no longer exists: 17549. I place the first title in track 1 and the second title in track 2 with a 2 second overlap. I then place a dissolve transition between the left edge 1 second before the start of the title in track 2 and the right edge of the transition 1 second after the end of the title in track 1. When I play the clip (or drag the cursor across the transition), track 1 fades out, as expected, but track 2 just pops in when it is time for it to start, no fade in. I've tried different transitions and they all do the same thing: transition happens normally in one track, but the second track is unaffected by the transition. I also tried swapping tracks, deleting and re-adding tracks, but always one of the two tracks is unaffected by the transition. There is a workaround as long as I only want a dissolve image. I can overlap the two clips and do a fade out on the first and a fade in on the second. That works fine as a dissolve, but I wouldn't be able to do anything fancier. I'm new to openshot and I haven't yet tried this with actual video clips, but I will tonight. 1) OpenSUSE 11.4 2) YaST package manager (this didn't work out of the box, I had to add the python-imaging package) 3) OpenShot 1.3.0 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
