Yes, but how is the user supposed to know this? I'm on Natty now, and on the export window I get "You are missing libmp3lame". There is a read more link but it's broken. If libavformat-extra is not listed as a dependency, at least it should be made available for install from the export window itself, pretty much how totem or other apps download the necessary pckgs if you allow them.
And even if this can't be done, the message should explicitly say "Install libavformat-extra". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenShot Developers, which is subscribed to OpenShot Video Editor. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/535385 Title: Openshot not recognizing libmp3lame Status in OpenShot Video Editor: Fix Released Bug description: When selecting certain export options in version 1.1, I'm not allowed to export because libmp3lame is not installed, but Synaptic lists the package libmp3lame0 as installed. I have successfully exported under this options (avi (mp4), ntsc dv, high quality) in version 1.0. Thanks Ubuntu 9.10 Openshot 1.1 installed from PPA + Ubuntu 9.04 64bits OpenShot 1.1 installed from the .deb dowloaded from the official website. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openshot.developers More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
