Show more info with the settings of the effects

Bug description:
Sometimes I have some problems to understand the settings of some effects.
Maybe it´s a good idea to put some more info near the settings of all the
effects like: %, pixels, mm, sec, .....
And also the maximum and minimum value that can be used should be greatfull.
Now I always have to figure out what the maximum possible value is by filling
in a big number and after entering this value it changes to the realy maximum
value.
Itś just an idea that came up in my mind :-)
