You can do this by setting [Startup] collidable_prim = false

I'm modifying a client so that avatar movement can be controlled from real world GPS readings. The idea is that you can explore a real world location whilst your avatar mimics your position in a sim. Think walking around the ruins of an old building whilst your avatar walks around a sim-based reconstruction The modifications pretty much work, but one major issue is that there will frequently be obstructions in the sim that don't exist in the real world - like walls that have fallen down. Thus I want to make the avatar phantom so that it can simply pass through things. Is there any way of doing this without having to make every single prim in the sim phantom? There are thousands & thousands of prims so this would take a long time, if there isn't some way to automate it. Ideally I'd like it to be on a per-avatar basis, but getting it to work for all avatars would be a sufficient first step. The modified viewer as it stands atm is here, in case anybody is interested in the dirty hacks. https://bitbucket.org/cj_davies/viewer-release-serial-io Regards, CJ Davies _______________________________________________ Opensim-dev mailing list Opensim-dev@lists.berlios.de https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/opensim-dev
