It was down because of an AWS maintenance. It's up again. The index is
still not fresh.

Last I checked, Diva was the maintainer of the MetaVerseInk site and
search engine.
So I think it's best to ask her about why the site no longer works

What exactly is needed? Do you have contact with the current
developer of the site? O r have they left the scene and they
should of released the code somewhere :)
I can see open grids and standalones would love this especially
if it also allows you to see scheduled events also.
I know I seen/heard of other implementations of it but they all
seam to fall aside unless you have a big backer on a long term
grid or two where you can have an project going on with more then
1 person who can keep the project rolling.
Some the private grid might like to use it to some extent too.
But is it time for us to do this? How well has the online website
trying to unit the economics working (online stores and such)
You will need someone who in it for the long run who can manage it
and acquire hosting for it. If you have to pay for it, where are
the moneys coming from to provide support for it? You can get
people to donate we space for it, will the balk if it grows to to
huge sizes? THere little more then to do then lets do it :)
But I would have to say, the project should be not be dependent on
one person to survive.
Just a thought :)

I am happy you reply to this poste. This search capacity

Thanks for the metaverseink URL. I know about the ossearch
module as I have been maintaining it for a while. I know the
objects database table is being populated. The missing piece
is a web based tool (ie. PHP file) that will let someone
perform a search.
If their is module code or web based code at that metaverse
site I will look at it to see what if it just needs some minor
updates to get it working (again).
