[1], particularly the stuff about checking out branches (you need
0.7.3-post-fixes).
You know, this would be less likely to occur if more people tested the release
candidates ;)

Thank you Justin!
BTW, can you tell me how to get a specific release like this one from git?

Fixed in 0.7.3-post-fixes and master. It's unfortunate that this made it into
the release. I might do a 0.7.3.1 when
some time has gone by but please don't count on this.

The mantis is

I verified and got the same issue
- on a standalone 0.7.3
- on a sim 0.7.3 connected to robust 0.7.3
So I can confirm it's not related to the mix of version in my initial setup
Personally, this is a blocking factor before upgrading my whole installation to
0.7.3…

Unfortunately, I have only sims running on 0.7.3, no Robust 0.7.3 server.
If anyone has a full 0.7.3 (robust + sim) install, I would be happy to hear if
the same bug appears.
I submitted the Mantis, and I include a full, ready to use script to reproduce
the error, so it's easy to make the test.
Otherwise, I would be happy to test by myself on any sandbox where osNPC
functions are allowed to check by myself.

If you were planning to do such a check anyway then please do so - it's always

OK. I would have preferred to check with a full 0.7.3 install before submitting
a mantis, but so I will…

I don't think is actually the case, NPC and avatar attachments are now separate
(to prevent this kind of conflict).
I think it's more likely that a bug has unfortunately crept in. Gudule, if you
could raise a bug with all the details
and a simple test case then that would be great. It shouldn't have any
connection with whether robust services have
been updated or not.

If this is what I am thinking of; I believe this was intentionally disabled at

After upgrading some of my sims to 0.7.3, function osNpcLoadAppearance() no
longer updates attachments of avatar
My config is currently:
robust serverc7dd7b1 r17199 2011-11-06
some sims withc7dd7b1 r17199 2011-11-06
-> In those, the loadAppearance works well, attachment are
added/removed/replaced as needed when loading a new
notecard
some test sims with new 0.7.3 release (connected to same grid)
-> In those, the loadAppearance just updates clothes and body, not attachments
In both configs, notecards are loaded correctly upon NPC creation.
I can't check now if this bug is related or not to fact that robust is not yet
updated
Can anyone test osNpcLoadAppearance on a full 0.7.3 grid setup?
