I suspect there might be an uncaught race condition somewhere, which would be a bug in ODE's physics plugin. I know there are a ton of open bugs so it might seem a little futile, but would be good to mantis it for reference.

This happens only to objects rezed with llRezObject(), and only for ground (not 
floor) collision.

Here is an experiment with a floor:

They all have been "de-physicated"  the instant they reached the ground.

The ground is perfectly flat (terrain fill).
