If the previous version of OpenSim worked with the version of Mono that the 
latest Dev Master doesn't, then I think it's incumbent upon the the OpenSim 
devs to figure out what they are doing differently now, that causes it to no 
longer work, and to at least consider doing it they way they had previously, 
that worked.
