Hi, I have a issue with the the OpenSLP v2, can someone give a help about it? Thanks a lot. My service installed the OpenSLP v2 : # rpm -qa |grep slp openslp-server-2.1.beta5-183 openslp-2.1.beta5-183
It seems that when the slpd is running well it doesn't give any response for the SrvRqst whatever the message is multicast or broadcast. When it does respond in any way to unicast, it returns that it doesn't support any service types at all... # slpd -v slpd version: 2.0.beta1 compile options: debugging: disabled predicates: enabled slpv1 compatability: enabled slpv2 security: enabled The SrvRqst is sent from a UA with OpenSLP v1. Attached is the SrvRqst package captured by tcpdump that UA sent to it. And here is the log I got about the slpd when sending SrvRqst to it: Tue Mar 27 02:58:12 2012 *** WARNING Parse Error *** Peer IP address: 50.0.0.111 message size = 205 message dump follows: 0x02(' ') 0x01(' ') 0x00(' ') 0x00(' ') 0xcd(' ') 0x20(' ') 0x00(' ') 0x00(' ') 0x00(' ') 0x40('@') 0x16(' ') 0x3d('=') 0x00(' ') 0x02(' ') 0x65('e') 0x6e('n') 0x00(' ') 0x83(' ') 0x35('5') 0x30('0') 0x2e('.') 0x30('0') 0x2e('.') 0x30('0') 0x2e('.') 0x31('1') 0x38('8') 0x38('8') 0x2c(',') 0x35('5') .....
