HEllo,

I hope that somebady is alive here :)

I try to use slp to find our machines in a foreign network.

To do this I configured the openslp server and statically registered a
service with a unique name.

For I while I can find all my machines with slptool. But then, after a
while, the machines are not responding to my slptool calls.

How can I fgure out the cause of this?

I runned a "tcpdump igmp" and there are a lot of reports....

I configured "net.slp.isBroadcastOnly = true" on all machines, but it
didn't help.

What can I do to figure out the cause for this?

Regards

Daniel
