We're actually working pretty closely with the Caja team (http://
code.google.com/p/google-caja/) to allow applications to be rewritten
inline in OpenSocial containers.  While Caja isn't part of the
OpenSocial specification, the advantages of allowing inline gadgets
are big enough that I'd expect several containers to offer this option
in the future.
