Hi. Can you provide more information regarding the problems you're experiencing? The makeRequest() method should work in all containers that implement version 0.6 or higher of the OpenSocial specification. Please keep in mind that if you're testing your applications within the Orkut Sandbox, which has been updated to support version 0.7 of the specification, you should use gadgets.io.makeRequest() in place of opensocial.makeRequest().
