We've been using eclipse--so far so good. Some folks have also grabbed Aptana to complement the vanilla tools from Eclispe. We've been able to use the embedded maven support to get a complete shindig environment up and running in the workbench. Using the open social client that Jason is writing, we're able to completely debug our code end-to-end within the workbench.
