The docs at http://code.google.com/apis/opensocial/container.html may
be slightly thin, but you could at least get started with step #1 ->
Google Gadgets.

While concrete tutorials or howtos are released, it may also be wise
to ensure the SPI side can be ready to go... i.e. what do you have to
expose?

Heck, you could probably write the SPI side ad-hoc right now :) make
sure it's feasible & works...
