My reading of the Data APIs suggests that the People Data API is read only and only supports GET. The Activity API supports GET/POST/PUT/DELETE but can't be applied to People fields. So potential methods like these are currently out of scope.
- updateIM(ID, imService, imAddress) - makeFriend(sourceId, targetName, targetEmail, targetSHA1Email) - postMessage(sourceId, targetId, message) I can't quite work out what the activity API actually applies to. Is it just the equivalent of Facebook's News Feed? Or can I plan to use it to update volatile properties of a profile such as a Twitter-like Status? -- Julian Bond E&MSN: julian_bond at voidstar.com M: +44 (0)77 5907 2173 Webmaster: http://www.ecademy.com/ T: +44 (0)192 0412 433 Personal WebLog: http://www.voidstar.com/ skype:julian.bond?chat Just Because You Aren't Paranoid, Doesn't Mean They're Not Out To Get You --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Implementing OpenSocial Containers" group.
