There are a team of volunteers developing a point of view (POV) wiki system here: http://canonizer.com This is basically a kind of open survey system where people can indicate what their values, beliefs, and desires are. For example, you can say what you believe about God by joining, or creating a new camp on the topic here: http://canonizer.com/topic.asp/2 We'd like to create an open social app that would compare the "camps" you are in on such topics, with the "camps" the friends in your network are in. This would give a quantitative measure of how closely the values and beliefs of people in your network were as compared to your own beliefs. If lots of people started using it, and taking the surveys, it would be a great way to find friends with similar values to your own, and maybe even an easy way to compare your values with the values of politicians you are considering voting for, and so on. Anyway, there are a growing number of people working on this system, in exchange for shares of Canonizer LLC.
