I'm successfully running Shindig on my mac os x (Leopard). 1. checkout shindig from repository and put somewhere (ex. ~/dev/ shindig) 2. set document root to ~/dev/shindig/php/gadgets or symbolic link that directory to your default htdocs/gadgets or something. 3. try http://<yourhost>/gadgets/ifr?url=http://www.labpixies.com/campaigns/todo/todo.xml
I made no changes including config file.
