I would think that finding a computer that can access svn (which is just a
regular protocol over http btw, so what is it blocked?) would be easier then
reproducing the 5+ man years of work that went into creating shindig ? :)

Ps, apache's main svn server is undergoing maintenance, so possibly you
couldn't check out the source because of that? (it was down for most of the
day yesterday, and in read-only mode today it seems).

If you really need a war file, please post your question on the shindig
list, your much more likely to find someone that can help there:
