Hi everyone, I hosted an orkut gadget and tried to retrieve the friends list. Two approaches - both returned 0 friends (even though there are more than 200).
Two approaches: 1) Direct Data Request opensocial API 2) SocialNorms API Has anyone had any luck with listing out friends etc yet? Are there any security restrictions as to where the gadget XML has to be hosted (I hosted on my own server, and basic javascript functions are showing up in orkut, even viewer/owner data is available, but friends data is not available). Is it possible that the sandbox hasn't opened up this information yet, as the privacy options are not implemented in the container yet?
