Hi Takamoto. opensocial.hasPermission() and
opensocial.requestPermission() are not currently supported; the team
will be releasing a doc soon that will clarify what functions and
capabilities are available in the sandbox.

Please feel free to file a new request for these methods in the public
issue tracker. In the meantime, there is a somewhat hacky workaround
-- specifically request the viewer's GENDER field and verify whether
the retrieved object is null in the response handler. Since GENDER is
an extended field, it will only be accessible to your application if
the current user (i.e. viewer) has installed it as well. I hope this
helps; please let me know if you have any other questions.
