Skinning has been a feature regularly requested by gadget developers.  The
plan is to move toward using the gadgets.skins namespace to allow for better
integration with containers.  You can check out the docs here:

If skins won't satisfy your needs, please post a proposal in this group:

To get enhanced skinning included in version 0.8.
