Hi. All of the source URLs for sandbox IFrames include the application ID appended to the st parameter:
http://<...>.sandbox.orkut.gmodules.com/gadgets/ifr?url=<...>&parent=http://sandbox.orkut.com&...&st=<...>#gadgetId=<APP_ID>&... You should be able to parse this location string to get the application ID.
