Currently there is no way for a developer to contact the app users with updates/new features. An app developer can create a community for the app but the community messaging is disabled once the community crosses 1000 members. I was wondering if Orkut Team would consider either lifting the messaging limit for official app communities or build some sort of 'notification from app' feature.
