Hi Aakash. There was a soft launch at last week's OpenSocial birthday
event. For now, you have to "borrow" a security token from a running
application in order to retrieve any data, hence why we haven't
publicized this on the blog.

If you're interested in giving the client libraries a test drive,
check out the following projects:

Ruby and Python libraries are also planned. If you have any early
feedback, please share it at
