The OpenSocial JavaScript API is not ideal for porting Facebook
applications written in server-side scripting languages, but server-to-
server APIs are available which make this task much more
straightforward. By the end of the week, we plan to release full
documentation for orkut's REST-based API as well as a set of client
libraries for various languages (including PHP) with an accompanying
sample app that can be run inside of orkut.

In the meantime, the best way to get your questions answered is by
posting your sample code to date and explaining what you're trying to
do so we can help you find and fix any issues.

Cheers!
