There are some examples to get you started in the client library itself [http://code.google.com/p/opensocial-php-client/source/browse/ #svn/trunk/src/examples] and some tutorials to brush up fundamentals on http://code.google.com/apis/orkut/. I'm sure there are other developers here on this list who can help you get started beyond that!
