user ID:
http://code.google.com/apis/orkut/docs/orkutdevguide/orkutdevguide-0.8.html#ops_uid

app ID:
http://code.google.com/apis/orkut/docs/orkutdevguide/orkutdevguide-0.8.html#ops_appid

optional some app parameter:
http://code.google.com/apis/orkut/docs/orkutdevguide/orkutdevguide-0.8.html#ops_querystring

ok, now you're all set up with:

urlPath = '/Main#Application.aspx?uid='+userID+'&appId='+appID
+'&appParams='+gadgets.json.stringify(appParams)

all nice if you're creating a activity update and putting this into a
link's href.

Now, how do you get if the user is on orkut.com or sandbox.orkut.com
or even yet, some https://orkut.com and make a javascript link with
top.location?
