Since April 2007, the Solaris Evangelists at Sun in Tokyo have presented
a series of night seminars to help build the OpenSolaris developer
community in Japan. Next week marks the 8th session in the series. And
just as the previous seven meetings, this upcoming session maxed out at
80 participants just a few hours after registration opened.

Title: Solaris Night Seminar: Building a Solaris Server

Abstract: After installing Solaris, you need to know how to build a
server. For example, a web/database server. In this seminar, we will
introduce Solaris/Apache/MySQL (or PostgreSQL)/PHP -- the so called
SAMP. In addition, we will introduce the use of the network printer with
OpenSolaris on a laptop and the use of an ink-jet printer with a USB
connection to an OpenSolaris laptop. Additional topics will include new
features in OpenSolaris, such as CIFS, and an overview of Project
Indiana. As usual, we will provide drinks, and we will have a BOF
session after the presentation. The presentation material is published
in Japanese: http://blogs.sun.com/funasaki/entry/solaris_night_seminar_4th
