The OpenSolaris Governing Board has set the calendar for the 2009
elections, in which the members of the board for April 2009-2010
will be elected, and a new version of the OpenSolaris Constitution
will be put up for a vote.

To be eligible to vote in this election, you must be designated as
a Core Contributor by at least one Community Group or the OGB itself,
before Monday, February 16, 2009.   Note that Core Contributor status
expires after two years, so many of those originally granted status
to vote in the first OpenSolaris elections in 2007 will need to get
their status renewed in order to vote this year.
