Steve Lau announced [1] a scheduled downtime of the opensolaris.org
infrastructure for 28th February 11am PST. This was to organize the move of
several machines to new racks due to power constraints.

Alan Coopersmith announced [2] the drop of the X consolidation sources for build
60, including Xorg 7.2, 64 bit support, and the start of Xorg support for SPARC.

John Plocher regretably announced [8] that he would not accept his OGB
nomination due to time and energy constraints. Shawn Walker [9], Karyn Ritter
[10] and Alan DuBoff [11] all accepted their respective nominations. James
Carlson indicated [12] that may also decline his nomination due to time
constraints with an existing PSARC meeting, though it was pointed out [13] later
on that the meetings would not necessarily conflict.

Tasha Westmore announced [14] that she had updated the list of converted
services for SMF, including manifests for Apache TomCat, PowerDNS and syslog-ng
among others.

Margot Miller mailed [15] with some thoughts on hostid generation on x86
systems. Currently given that x86 systems don't have hardware hostid, Solaris
generates a software identifier. Margot proposes to replace the current
implementation with a simpler interface, looking for feedback on the
ramifications of doing so.
