" It is easy to play armchair quarterback after the game is over, but it still
doesn't change the outcome of the game...."
- John Plocher, talking about missed opportunities and
why OpenSolaris isn't using TeamWare

Roy Fielding provided [9] some details about the voting system used in Apache,
that would likely be similar for the OpenSolaris elections. Stephen Hahn posted
[10] draft minutes from the OGB call on the 7th Feb, detailing the discussion of
the position paper [11] that was published earlier the previous week by Al
Hopper detailing the OGB's recommendations for handling the ongoing GPLv3 dual
licensing discussion. Jim Grisanzio followed up [12] with concerns he had that
it was an attempt to thwart the discussion rather than lead it. Roy Fielding
replied [13] saying that he would favour the conversation to be richer,
containing actual facts and reasoning based on a common source of information,
noting that the conversation was continuing not necessarily from the
vested interest part of the community rather than casual observers. Al Hopper
later proposed [14] that the mechanism for project creation and criteria
involved would be a task that the new OGB would take on, after substantial
discussion on the lists this week.
