On December 22, 2005, the 2005 /Open Source World/ Editor's Choice 
Awarding Ceremony was held in the convention center of Beijing CCID 
Building. With the support from China Software Evaluation Center and 
CCID Consulting, /Open Source World/ has been electing and promoting 
outstanding Linux and Open Source products and solutions consecutively 
for three years. Awards include 'The Best Linux Enterprise Edition', 
'The Best Linux e-Government Solutions', 'The Best Linux Desktop+ 
Government Procurement Solution', 'The Best Innovative Open Source 
Project', 'The Best Chinese Input Method', 'The Best Browser', 'The Best 
E-mail Client', and so forth. OpenSolaris has been awarded as the 'The 
Best Innovative Open Source Project'. Elected companies and softwares 
include Sun, Red Hat, SGI, Sybase, and some influential open source 
projects like OpenSolaris, Firefox, Thunderbird and SCIM.
