G'Day Gamers,
The OpenSolaris Games community has been created! It exists to,
1. List available Games for OpenSolaris.
2. Post install guides.
3. Develop new Games for OpenSolaris.
4. Play games.
There are tons of games out there (NetHack,Angband, ZAngband, PRBoom,
Freeciv, BZFlag and Wesnoth, just to name a few), and the Games website
will link to them in a sensible manner. It will also provide solutions for
installing certain games, at the very least through postings on the
mailing list.
Apart from existing games, the Games community will encourage the
development of new games. A different role this serves is to provide a
safe learning environment for inexperienced programmers to practice
programming, and working on projects with others.
