Could you please elaborate?
I did not yet have the time to test the preview but if the default user setup
creates a non-UNIX environment, this would be a really bad idea.
Regarding tar compatibility... Did you understand why I am talking about
tarcompatibility often? Unfortunately, Sun tar definitely creates similar
problems as GNU tar. Sun tar may create archives with vendor uniqie extensions
that make it hard to unpack with other standard tar archivers.
It would be great if Sun is finally ready for a useful discussion on tar and if
people understand that all tar reated PSARC cases from the last 2 years did harm
the tar compatibility of Solaris.
