No, the fact that xtsol got updated for the Xorg 1.5 case meant it has
been several months since it was able to be loaded by or work with
Xnewt, which is based on Xorg 1.2 sources, but that's not surprising
since Xnewt never got a contract for the Volatile or Private API/ABI's
between the Xorg server & the loadable xtsol module for the Xorg server.
(Nor would we be likely to sign one, since we have clear evidence
incompatible change will happen here, and are not resourced to write
and maintain checks in the module for the server's ABI version and
adjust appropriately as nvidia does with their binary modules.)
