Can you explain how this project relates to PSARC 2004/824?  That case
also aimed to deliver a driver by the name "ixge" for Intel 10Gb
Ethernet interfaces.

Is this case a duplicate?  Does it supersede or obsolete the previous
one?  (I had thought that the earlier project had shipped even though
ARC review never completed -- I've heard from customers using it.)

Not an ARC issue, but I hope these agreements are being reviewed by
the OpenSolaris team.  An agreement that allows only Sun to make
changes or redistribute would be problematic and might require
additional infrastructure work.
