I am sponsoring this case for John Martin of the x86 driver team.
It requests a patch release binding as it only adds a new package
and does not modify existing interfaces.

The timer is set for next Friday, August 8, 2008.

4. Technical Description

NVIDIA's Cg Toolkit is available for Solaris from the NVIDIA download
site a compressed tar file of just a file system image. Cg Toolkit is
delivered in many Linux based distros, so the Indiana team has requested
   it be delivered with Solaris.

The Cg Toolkit supports the Cg 2.0 programming language, including
a compiler, headers and runtime libraries for OpenGL, plus man pages
and examples. All content and interface stability is determined by
NVIDIA. This project merely provides the SYSV packaging and delivery
to the X consolidation for later conversion to IPS packaging and
   delivery to Open Solaris.

The SYSV package name is NVDAcg and delivers files in the following
   directories:

      /usr/bin: Cg compiler
      /usr/include/Cg: Cg headers
      /usr/lib: Cg libraries
      /usr/share/Cg: Cg examples and documentation
      /usr/share/man: Cg man pages

The main web page for the Cg Toolkit is
   http://developer.nvidia.com/object/cg_toolkit.html.
Support for Cg is provided by NVIDIA through their developer forum.
