Um. I think that's a "don't do that" scenario. It's not terribly clear to me why you'd not just uninstall the unbundled symlink package and reinstall the bundled symlink package (or however those links get rebuilt -- I don't recall you having a separate package for those, which would then preclude the unbundled symlink package from being installed on the system at the same time as the bundled compilers). If you really want to have ultimate flexibility with compiler versions, just don't install the bundled ones. Danek
