I am sponsoring the following fast-track for Vivek Titarmare. The
timeout is set at March 3. The case directory contains the supplied
materials.

This fast-track is a portion of the Drools case LSARC 2008/748, which
is a dependency of ADM - PSARC 2007/210.

2. Project Summary
   2.1 Project Description

XOM? is a new XML object model. It is an open source (LGPL), tree-based
API for processing XML with Java that strives for correctness, simplicity, and
performance, in that order.

4. Technical Description:

The architecture of XStream consists of the four main components:
XOM is a new XML Object Model for processing XML with Java that
strives for correctness and simplicity. It contains following
        packages

        nu.xom
It is the core package of XOM that contains all the
basic classes representing the different kinds of nodes:
elements, attributes, comments, text nodes, and so forth.

        nu.xom.canonical
It supports the output of Canonical XML (Extensible Markup
Language) from XOM.

        nu.xom.converters
It contains classes that convert XOM documents to other
models such as SAX (Simple API for XML) and DOM (Document
Object Model).

        nu.xom.tests
nu.xom.tests contains the JUnit based test suite for XOM.

        nu.xom.xinclude
nu.xom.xinclude supports XInclude processing of XOM
                documents and elements.

        nu.xom.xslt
It connects XOM documents to TrAX-based XSLT (Extensible
Stylesheet Language Transformations) processors.
