Add the additional download times for all that newly generated HTML containing all those case materials, and the site's usability has taken a severe hit as well. That problem can only get worse over time with the current layout (all that generated DHTML on the left pane). I have suspected for some time that the only real benefit I can personally bring to either ARC, aside from my casual foray into internship duties is to act as a resource for rewriting tools. At the moment, I'm personally constrained for time, or I'd try to lead a requirements gathering effort. I know John Plocher's prior work in the area would be a great starting point. Until my local spacetime expands, I guess you're probably stuck with the babysitting chores and the robustness of the site will still be variable. Is anyone else interested in at least getting a requirements gathering exercise started?
