There doesn't seem to be a service for this defined. How does the user invoke it? Does the user have to write his own SMF manifest? > Do any of the components for the project deal with passwords? > [ ] Yes > [*] No - continue to next section (section 3.4.6) I don't think that's correct. Mrtg can be configured with the SNMP "community" string, which is the (weak) password used for SNMP. The documentation for it suggests protecting that password. > If yes are these passwords entered via the CLI or environment? > [ ] Yes - ARC review required > [ ] No CLI through cfgmaker, right? > /usr/bin/mrtg Uncommitted Perl script > /usr/bin/mrtg-traffic-sum Uncommitted Perl script > /usr/bin/cfgmaker Uncommitted Perl script > /usr/bin/indexmaker Uncommitted Perl script > /usr/bin/rateup Uncommitted Executable binary file Why /usr/bin? Do ordinary users invoke this? I would have expected mrtg to be delivered as a service that can be enabled or disabled in the usual way (svcadm).
