Ditto. If there is a desire to backport to S10, could the new behavior of prompting for a username (instead of assuming root) be made conditional (e.g. based on some configuration in /etc/?) I would think if this behavior were optional, and not enabled by default, then a Patch binding would be non-controversial. (Note that I think making the behavior conditional is only required for Patch releases... for minor/micro releases the behavior as specified here seems good to me.) -- Garrett
